Sophistication meets simplicity in Colourshop.  Mixing raw and elaborate pop, with funk, rock and jazz influences, these two Italian brothers are ready to show the UK something that has captivated Europe already.

Growing up in a small town in the hills just outside Rome, they picked up their father's

Bulgarian red guitar and at the tender age of 5 (Diego) and 9 (Alfredo) started to play.

After years spent together sharing one old Casio keyboard, the red guitar and loads of sheet music, they started composing their own music. The first song was written by Alfredo at the age of 14 about a girl that used to live in their neighbourhood and his first teenage crush that drove him crazy. The song was called Il Destino Di Noi or Our Destiny and was the start of a prolific songwriting career.

The band have recently settled in London.  They honed their craft across Europe, performing in Italy, Spain, Poland, The Netherlands and France extensively, collaborating with a multitude of musicians wherever they go – something they believe is important to add to the colour and diversity of their music:

“Music is a universal language that can reach and deliver its message to everyone, regardless the different roots and culture.”

The band have also recently made their performance debut in Moscow, and already have great previous experience of festival and venue performances throughout the UK.

New EP  ‘Canvas #1’ is due for release on Monday 25th November 2013.  The record fuses these experiences together on a journey of styles and excitement that uses creative, and at times surprising, song writing to enthral listeners.  It is sure to spread to the enchantment of live audiences on their upcoming UK tour -  further demonstrating the synergy they posses together when it comes to making music.
