Continuing his transition into a grittier, more mature blues/country shade of singer-songwriting, away from the "pub hero" style of his earlier work, Tim Brooks' Always The Same As It Was Before tells the story of an intense on-off relationship, caught in a cyclone fraught with passion and drama. It features all the elements that make up Tim Brooks' recent releases, that being vocal gymnastics, smart wordplay and a keen ear for melody and song dynamics.

2019 has already seen Tim Brooks embark on tours around the UK, Holland and Belgium, as well as performances on Balcony TV in Galway, and radio airplay in London. The coming months will see him perform around the UK (Brighton, York, Cardiff and London to name a few), and abroad (Slovenia, Ireland, Spain and France), with an appearance on the world famous Sofar Sounds scheduled for June, and multiple further releases scheduled for the remainder of the year.
