Leann Rimes feels like she's 'starting all over again' following rehab stint

'Can't Fight The Moonlight' hitmaker Leann Rimes has revealed that entering a rehabilitation program has given her a second chance.

She admitted herself to rehab shortly after her 30th birthday and sought intensive treatment for stress and anxiety issues, and told Katie Couric that people had strange reactions to the news as though they didn't think anything troubled her:

"People look at you and go, 'Why are you struggling?' No one can quite understand why you hurt so badly."

She added that getting professional help encouraged her to grab life by both hands again and she is grateful for the opportunity to face things head on with a clearer mind:

"I feel like I am starting over even though I've had all these years behind me. How many people get to (start) over again in this day and age?"
