Louis Tomlinson helps Children in Need raise almost £50m with a stunning live performance

Louis Tomlinson helped Children in Need raise £47.9m with a stunning live performance of We Made It yesterday (November 15).

Looking suave in a black turtleneck top and navy blue and dark green checked zipped jacket, the One Direction star performed his third single from his upcoming debut solo album, Walls.

The Kill My Mind singer-songwriter had only just flown back from playing Mexico's Premios Telehit Festival, where he met up with fellow bandmate, Niall Horan, much to the delight of their fans.

It's no surprise that the kind-hearted lad would be involved with Children in Need this year, as he is a massive active supporter of children's charities such as the Bluebell Wood Children Hospice, the Believe in Magic kids charity, and personally helps individual fans in need. He also presented an award to Freya Lewis, a Manchester bomb survivor, at the NHS Heroes Awards

The five-hour Children In Need telethon also featured England football players, a celebrity edition of music quiz The Hit List and Westlife.

Children in Need is the BBC's official UK charity and raises money for disadvantaged young people around the country, such as those experiencing poverty, with disabilities, or victims of abuse or neglect.
