Matthew Morrison's exclusive contract

Matthew Morrison has admitted that he is on a special contract with 'Glee' that allows him to release original material outside the show.

Speaking to The Daily Star's James Ingham, the 'Summer Rain' singer explained that he's the only cast member to have been given the privilege:

"I had a bit more pull when entering the show so I was put on a different contract."

“That’s why I don’t have to do the Glee Tour. The others can’t record a solo album until they leave, whereas I can.”

Despite his creative freedom, Morrison did reveal that he has no plans to leave the show or to break away from the series just yet:

“Mr Schuester certainly isn’t going anywhere for a while. He’s there to stay.”
