Today (Wednesday 17th April) - prolific Afrobeats sensation Joeboy returns with a new double-release 'Adenuga’ featuring Qing Madi and 'Concerning' via his new record label Young Legend in partnership with Warner Music Africa.

Following the success of his previous single 'Osadebe', which has garnered over 9.4 million streams since its release, Joeboy returns with two wholehearted tracks that showcase two contrasting sides to the artist’s character. From the inception of his career, Joeboy has cemented himself as the quintessential lover-boy, and these new songs only serve to reinforce this persona while delving deeper into the complexities of love and relationships.

'Adenuga' sees Joeboy teaming up with budding sensation Qing Madi to deliver a heartfelt anthem celebrating the enduring power of love. In a landscape frequently dominated by toxic portrayals of romance, Joeboy offers a refreshing perspective, championing the ideals of fairy tale love and grand gestures.

Discussing the single, Joeboy said: “Love is beautiful but can be annoying when it’s unrequited. In the moment, it’s annoying and somewhat painful but that shouldn’t stop you from putting yourself out there again and again. If anything, it prepares you for when you find the one.”

Speaking about collaborating with Qing Madi, Joeboy expressed his admiration, stating, “Madi is so talented. I’ve been a fan since she did a cover of my song ‘Body & Soul’ last year. We have been looking for the perfect song to collaborate on and when she heard ‘Give You The World’, she fell in love with it and delivered a sick verse.”

On the flip side, second single 'Concerning' delves into the darker aspects of love, harnessing an uptempo, spaced out groove and shedding light on the confusion and pain that often accompany unrequited affection.
