Robbie will be at the store from 7.30 pm to meet fans * and sign copies of the new album on CD, which is released the same day through Island Records. Take The Crown will be Robbie’s ninth studio album to date and features the hit lead single Candy, which he’d penned with former Take That band-mate Gary Barlow. Robbie’s hmv appearance, which will formally mark the start of the Christmas shopping season at hmv, will follow on from his switching-on of the Oxford Street Christmas lights earlier that evening. * Please note access to this event is strictly limited. 300 wristbands will be available from the store on the day of the event on a first-come first-served basis, one per customer only, subject to availability.
