Award-winning cinematic songwriter, self-taught pianist, vocalist and composer ELATRASI returns with electrifying power and raw emotion as she reveals her latest single ‘Lighthouse’ - the lead single of her upcoming debut EP. Lighthouse is out now across all streaming platforms.

Receiving a late neurodivergent diagnosis, ELATRASI wanted to shine as a beacon of hope. Strength and confidence underpin this release as she is determined to shine visibly for those who often feel unseen, unheard or have ever felt the need to hide their true selves away.

ELATRASI shares: ‘As we navigate our own storms and take tiny steps towards self-compassion, we unknowingly become a lighthouse to someone else’s storm, and this is truly a powerful notion. Lighthouse is a celebration of unmasking and unlearning, embracing the unique traits that make us who we are, accepting the unknown and showing up in a world that is still learning to understand those who perceive the world differently. It’s a gentle hug and pick-me-up on our darker days, and literally saying “You may not see your light right now, but I can see yours and I’m proud of you. You’ve got this”.’

Inspired by her North African-Arab heritage and childhood inspired by motion pictures, ELATRASI mixes her love of composition and storytelling with her deep cinematic vocals.
