Mutya Buena declared bankrupt

Mutya Buena has been declared bankrupt this week, according to paperwork lodged with Companies House.

The singer, who is part of Sugababes trio Mutya Keisha Siobhan, reportedly owes her company God Made Me Funky around £22,500.

Her company Sacred Three Limited is reportedly also £10,000 in debt.

A rep for the singer told The Sun that the bill was down to an "administrative error".

They added that Buena "continues to write and record" with her group, despite the trio going silent recently.

The band released debut single 'Flatline' in 2013 but a mooted album has yet to materialise.
