Alt-Rock sensation ‘HRTLSS’ drops his highly anticipated single ‘Final Lullaby’. Pulling from metal and grunge inspirations, HRTLSS’s new single looks to combine emotive lyricism with dark-pop dynamics reminiscent of musical contemporaries Linkin Park and Evanescence.

Ruminating on the final moments with loved ones, ‘Final Lullaby’ exemplifies the sometimes beautiful emptiness of loss and grief. Highly expressive in his songwriting HRTLSS took inspiration from his own personal experiences and loss while writing this track, crafting a story of love, fear and grief. Accompanied by heavy guitar licks, driving drum beats and textured synth lines, the track is fully sensitive to its subject matter and its musical arrangements careful and thought-provoking. Speaking on the track HRTLSS states that “'Final Lullaby touches on the final moments with your closest loved one, during an ‘end of the world’ scenario, which gives you chills, but is beautiful and pretty in its feeling.”

Speaking on the single HRTLSS explains, “It’s easy to write about something that’s close to you, and whilst an end of the world scenario is unlikely, imagining how I would feel knowing we only had minutes or hours left together, was enough to provoke the words and the message of our ‘final lullaby’ which is essentially your last kiss, your last embrace, your last breath. ”

Based out of Cambridge, HRTLSS has already had a prolific music career, forming and touring throughout Europe in a metal band, after dropping out of school as a teen. Championed by the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Future Alternative, Radio 1’s Introducing Show, Indie Show, and Introducing Rock with Alyx Holcombe, HRTLSS’s talent has not gone unrecognised.

With 6 years of heavy touring under his belt, supporting the likes of You Me At Six, Enter Shikari, Bullet For My Valentine, A Day To Remember, and Architects, he’s back with his new project. HRTLSS is certainly one to look out for.
