Boston-based ‘Walter Sickert & the Army of Broken Toys’ release their highly anticipated single ‘Keep My Head’. A high-concept rock band, the eight-member collective thrives in their own signature genre, melding combining Rock, Goth, and Punk to create their electrifying sound.

‘Keep My Head’ exemplifies this style, a flirty and adventurous track that pulls from its members' variety of eclectic stylings and musical skills. Walter Alice Sickert describes the track as a 'Rococo Horror Picture Show', lending to the single's eccentric take on the rock genre and the lyrical subject matter of sex and self-love. The band’s violist, Rachel Jayson’s skill truly shines in this number, composing the cello and viola arrangements that add gorgeous respites to the otherwise frenzied, loud track.

Speaking on the track Walter Alice Sickert Sicker says: "‘Keep My Head’ is an ode to love, sex, trust, and the revolutionary act of self-love and self-acceptance. It’s about forging our own paths in love and life and lifting each other up. That’s the essence of everything, from this song to the video, the band, our live performances, the songs we’ve previously written, and the music we aspire to create in the future. The message is clear: hold on, we need you in this world, and together, we can make it a better place for everybody. Life is short and it’s the love you leave behind that truly matters.”

The single has already garnered high praise from the likes of Accesswire and LA Weekly, with the music video and Spotify stream achieving over 120k impressions each. ‘Keep My Head’ showcases the band’s ability to consistently reach large audiences with their last single ‘Goth Beach’ hitting similar levels of success online.
