Described as a conglomerate of music producers and artists ‘BLENDIN’ERA’ releases their latest single ‘When The World Is Running Down’ ft Laura Lopez aka LauRAW, along with B-side ‘Good Times’’. (aka DJ Abstract), Castor Troy and Rob Fischer, who have teamed up with handpicked artists and producers like SaDBoY and Laura Lopez, among other singers, talented visual artists and designers from around the world to create a truly international collective based out of Germany dedicated to creating compelling electronic music.

Straight off the back of their debut single ‘This Love’, BLENDIN’ERA once again showcases their ability to create versatile tracks that span the breadth of electronic music. ‘When The World Is Running Down’ is a reimagining of The Police’ 1980’s hit ‘When The World Is Running Down, You Make The Best Of What’s Still Around.’ For the track, BLENDIN’ERA enlisted the help of German Afro-Caribbean Singer Laura Lopez (aka LauRAW), the result is an uplifting blend of Blendin'Era's expertly crafted electronic sounds with the powerhouse vocals of LauRAW that breathe fresh life into this beloved classic.

Hailing from Heidelberg, Laura Lopez (LauRAW) is a German Afro-Caribbean artist who writes and composes in both German and English. Having spent over 15 years in the entertainment industry as an artist, model and dancer who has performed on countless stages around the world alongside the likes of Russ, Ana, Anderson Paak, Down Low, C-Block, Ray Horton and many more. Musically LauRAW is an authentic voice that performs across Neo-Soul, Afro, Hip-Hop and electronic genres. A versatile artist, her emotive vocals, positivity and spirituality coupled with her wild, sensual and fun style gift LauRAW with the ability to captivate audiences worldwide.

With a wealth of experience throughout the industry across different genres and disciplines, BLENDIN’ERA is primed with boundless potential and the ability to merge and experiment across a wide range of genres. With Castor and Rick meeting in the early 90’s to create their first joint studio, eventually founding their own dance label with a third party called, ‘Energized’ which achieved two Top Ten Gold Hits (Discofans // Space Frog) and two Top 30 placements. Other collaborations and ventures followed with the likes of DJ Kenny Blake, Mousse T. and Sony Music Germany. After years of working together, the two brought on Rob to create BLENDIN’ERA. Rob is an accomplished musician, producer and mixing engineer, who has worked with a slew of artists over the years most notably ‘Amanda’ and iconic German rapper ‘Sido’ who reached gold status in 2017.

With their debut single ‘This Love’ garnering support across an array of press and radio outlets along with a growing online listenership, BLENDIN’ERA’s follow-ups ‘When The World Is Running Down’ and ‘Good Times’ look poised to catapult their profile further.
