Ana Galeli releases her latest single ‘Take It Slow’, the track is taken off her debut solo EP ‘Toyland’, slated for release in early 2024. The Brazilian-born artist evokes an atmosphere of reflection through smoky soft harmonies and cinematic melodies with a bent towards synth rock.

Her latest single ‘Take It Slow’ exemplifies this sound, the track ebbs and flows through a sonic soundscape of synth and guitar lines atop a hypnotic vocal performance from Ana Galeli. Inspired by the concept of time and the importance of living in the present, while walking through Père Lachaise cemetery visiting the grave of a young Jim Morrison, the experience served as the basis to craft her reflective lyrics pairing them with the melodic harmonies found throughout the track.

Speaking on the track further, Ana Galeli states “I think time is something we take for granted especially in a future-focused society. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but an end is certain. So while we have this moment, now - why not spend time with time.”

Hailing from Sāo Paulo, Brazil, Ana Galeli grew up in Los Angeles, USA before moving to Paris, France to pursue her songwriting career, her collaborations have been released on labels such as Universal Music and Sony Music Sweden, landing on the iTunes charts and receiving radio plays throughout Europe.
