US-based indie-punk band T!LT unleash their latest sonic offering, 'Castes,' a gripping single extracted from their forthcoming EP, 'Death Do Us Part.' Hailing from New Haven, Connecticut, the dynamic quartet weaves alternative rock with hints of folk and electronic elements, challenging musical norms and carving a distinct niche in the indie scene.

‘Castes’ showcases the band's ability to seamlessly blend different influences and genres to create a sound that defies easy categorization. The track takes a decidedly different approach to their previous releases opting for a sound that ventures into the realm of Americana and indie-folk. The title references the caste system in India, cleverly used in the song to explore the dichotomy between the 'haves and have-nots.' The overarching theme is a melancholic look back into someone's life reflecting on struggles and hardships while celebrating resilience and growth.

Speaking further on the track T!LT states "There’s a bittersweetness knowing you’ve finished your victory lap, only to look down and be met with the realization that you’ve accumulated heavy pockets full of nostalgia along the way."

‘Castes’ features as the final track in the band's upcoming 8-track EP ‘Death Do Us Part’ which sees T!LT experiment with their sound throughout, from tracks like ‘I Hate My Dream Job’ offering listeners a raucous Americana/bluegrass vibe intertwined with emotive punk-inspired vocals to ‘Dust Bunny Symphony’ that experiments with entrancing electronic elements, T!LT crafts a varied sonic soundscape throughout ‘Death Do Us Part’ that reveals new facets with each listen.

With an infectious energy and an unwavering commitment to authenticity, T!LT has surged into the spotlight of the New England underground scene. 'Castes' and 'Death Do Us Part' mark the next chapter in their musical journey, promising an active and engaging start to the year. As T!LT gears up for a busy live schedule, their unique blend of genres and raw, emotive performances continue to captivate audiences.
