We are excited to announce the new release of, “As We Dance” by independent Alternative-R&B/Soul artist, ANU. She’s Brooklyn born and Bronx bred with a powerful message in her music. She’s already released her impressive song called, “ABYSS” on May 5th. She has an eclectic blend of Rhythm & Blues, Soul, Rock, Electronic and Island Vibes. ANU has also previously released an EP titled, “I’m Coming Out” independently, which has received welcoming critical praise. Her newest song “As We Dance” is currently receiving radio play globally and garnering lots of attention in Japan. POWERBLAST WORLDWIDE has partnered with ANU to assist her with marketing her new singles, “As We Dance” and “ABYSS” to a wider audience and grow her current fan-base. ANU explains, ‘As We Dance’ in her own words,
“From your first time meeting someone and knowing this is the only person you want to connect with intimately. ‘As We Dance’ takes you on this romantic journey. Using music as metaphor, ‘As We Dance’ is about the fun & abandon experienced during the dance of lovemaking.
I wrote the lyrics and then found a track that connected with the vibe I wanted to create. Inspired by the R&B I came up on, ‘As We Dance’ has us remember the times when we danced and experienced music together romantically. The island vibe allowed me to complete the song's nuances and express the fun dancing together can be, whether upright or horizontal.”
