Blakk North begins this story by addressing current issues such as ‘fake news’ and the ‘brainwashing of America’ being posted and broadcasted via social, local, and national news media. Blakk North points out key examples of lies and misinformation that have infiltrated the minds of too many via the media. He wants the takeaway from this song to be that we all as individuals should think for ourselves and do our own research. “TRUTH” is a very powerful message in a time where many artists won’t dare to speak on such serious topics. The overall point of this song is, “If you don’t understand yourself within, how can you understand the world out side of you?” says Blakk North.
