Pete Doherty announces extensive UK tour

Pete Doherty has announced details for an extensive UK and Ireland solo tour that will run solidly through the month of May. 

The musician released his debut solo album, 'Grace/Wastelands', on March 16 in 2009 and preceeded this with a single called 'Last Of The English Roses'. 

This news will come as a surprise to fans as the singer hasn't toured since reforming The Libertines back in August last year. Tickets for the gigs will be made available from Friday, January 28. He will play at the following venues:

 

  • May 3 - Assembly Rooms at Leamington Spa
  • May 4 - O2 Academy in Leicester
  • May 5 - O2 Academy in Bristol
  • May 6 - O2 Academy in Oxford
  • May 8 - Cambridge Junction
  • May 9 - Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone
  • May 10 - Shepherd's Bush Empire in London
  • May 11 - Southampton University
  • May 13 - UEA Norwich
  • May 14 - HMV Institute in Birmingham
  • May 15 - O2 Academy in Liverpool
  • May 17 - O2 Academy in Newcastle
  • May 18 - O2 Academy in Manchester
  • May 19 - O2 Academy in Leeds
  • May 20 - Barrowlands in Glasgow, Scotland
  • May 27 - Dublin Academy
  • May 28 - Derry Nerve Centre
  • May 29 - Mandela Hall in Belfast
