Rita Ora recalls scary fan experience: 'You give people what they want, then they want to kill you'

'Shine Ya Light' hitmaker Rita Ora has revealed that she once had a terrifying encounter with an angry fan who would follow her around while she was in New York City.

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, the songstress confessed that she is always very giving where her fans are concerned so it shocked her to think that this one in particular turned against her for no reason:

"It's nice to be accepted by my Rita-bots and I am always honest with them. But there was one person in New York who scared me. He was following us everywhere. I had no idea how he got to places I was going to but he would and he always, always asked for a picture."

"But one day his camera fell on the floor while it was raining and I've never seen anyone turn so angry. That was weird - you give people what they want and then they go too far, and want to kill you."

Ora's new single, entitled 'I Will Never Let You Down', shot into the UK chart at No.1 yesterday (May 14) during the midweek update and the final position will be confirmed this coming Sunday.
