Rita Ora shares her top beauty tips

'Shine Ya Light' songstress Rita Ora has revealed that cosmetics are important to her because they help with confidence, encourage her to try out new looks, and can change how she feels in her own skin.

During a new interview with Glamour magazine, the beauty opened up about her love of nail art and using make-up to accentuate her stunning features:

"Nail art is definitely not over. I like having a little something that catches people's eye. I love that as women, we can decorate ourselves like Christmas trees—well, not exactly like that but the same idea. We can put makeup on, do things to our hair. So why not?"

"Some people are intimidated to wear a bold lip or eye, but I think it's nice to stand out. I was such a tomboy as a kid; I was on the football team. But now I love dressing up and putting on makeup. What I'm really proud of is being able to put lipstick on without a mirror. Red lips are my thing; I honestly can't be me without them. I could apply it on a roller coaster! I'm going to film myself doing that and put it on YouTube. Just wait."

Ora then confessed that she also loves to wear perfume because it changes the way she feels: "I wear fragrance all the time. It's more about how it makes me feel, rather than other people noticing. When you smell good, you feel more confident. It heightens the senses and activates them. I think that's really empowering as a female."
