Rita Ora: 'Experiences in life help shape who you are'

'I Will Never Let You Down' hitmaker Rita Ora has revealed that taking risks and jumping on opportunities that have been offered to her have helped to shape her character.

Speaking to German magazine Jolie, the songstress explained that it was important for her to take as many chances as possible in order to grow as a person

"I was just some girl from London. The more experiences you have, the more you find out about yourself. Everything you do is mirrored more and more in you."

She went onto add that she gets her strength and motivation from her mother, who she really looks up to: "I have my strength from her. That's where my fiery and determined nature comes from. We are independent women."

Ora, meanwhile, recently told Australia's GQ magazine that fame has shown her people's true colours: "It's been mental. Not that I'm complaining, but you start seeing things around you change, and people you've known for years begin acting weird. You find out who your real friends are."
