Charmless i is the new rock project of Dutch singer-songwriter Alex Pasveer.

Alex is the former frontman and creative soul of the rock band Steed. After two studio albums and continuously performing in The Netherlands and The UK, the band was dissolved at the end of 2016. A year later Alex is back with new songs, a new band, an EP and an album in the making.

The new EP is mastered by New York based Andy Vendette. Andy has worked with some of the most influential artists in the industry including, David Bowie, Deep Purple, and Beastie Boys.

The band consists of Alex Pasveer (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Auke Haaksma (bass guitar/Vocals), Bart Klomp (Drums/Vocals) and Rutger van Mourik (Guitar/Vocals). The name Charmless i is a reference to the Blur track Charmless Man, a song about "the worst guy at a dinner party"

Their sound has a broad spectrum of influences from New Order to Blur. Contagious rock hymns, hypnotic electropop elements with synth-bass and layered vocals brought with Dutch sobriety but always: catchy as hell!
