Nachtschade - Dutch for nightshade - is spacious rock music with a theatrical touch. Inspired by the '60s and '70s, but with present-day sharpness.

New single Roses is another enticing example of the band's endless versatility. It's a cinematic rock tune with an analogue sound that reflects the band's live energy. The particular panning of instruments and vocals adds to the retro atmosphere of the song. Crowded House, 10CC, and Beatles harmonies can also be clearly heard.

Roses is the first new music after their debut album Maskerade which was released last year. Extensive touring followed. Several singles of the album were featured in Dutch Spotify playlists, Indie charts, and it brought the band to national tv. Nachtschade is working hard on new material for their upcoming EP which is scheduled for this fall.
