Amsterdam based Belle and The Beats is powerful vocals with elements of rock and electronics shaped into mystifying pop noir. Heart of the melancholy is writer and singer Belle - as a girl ignited by Vanessa Mae's performance of Vivaldi's Four Seasons and formed as a woman at the prestigious Vocal Institute in Copenhagen, Europe's largest institute for pro and semi-pro singers.

Debut EP Lose Your Feathers is the fruit of a collaboration with producer Gil Lopez (Kuenta i tambu, Naked Ears), assisted by Mark van Bruggen (Dotan). It pefectly showcases the versatility of Belle and The Beats, sometimes delicate, other times fierce.

The first singles Soldier Of The Night and Deeper led to the Dutch Spotify New Music Friday playlist, Viral 50 and New Alternative, got picked up by a large collection of international blogs and had airplay in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Switzerland, Canada, United States and Australia.
