Dear Backgammon fans, we are the bearers of some sad news: the Dutch Indie Rock band has decided in good faith they will turn over a new leaf. Without a doubt we will see Thijs, Hugo, Pim and Coen back in new and exciting projects, in which they will bring their enthusiasm and gained experience!

To soften the blow here's Reflection of You - A mellow rock ballad slowly building towards a strong climax, as a fitting end. It's the second single after their eponymous debut album from last year.

Backgammon was the 2013 winner of the Dutch Student Band Festival, in 2014 they were elected Best Dutch Newcomer on Dutch national radio and in 2015 they were runner up at the famous Dutch competition ‘de Grote Prijs van Nederland’. They have toured extensively in The Netherlands, UK and Belgium and were featured on many festivals. On 11 October they will give a farewell concert in Amsterdam for their Dutch fans.

Previous single Other Side Of Town and the singles from their debut album did very well in the Dutch Indie Chart and were featured in the Dutch Spotify New Music Friday playlist. Backgammon gave live performances on Dutch national radio, as well as Sofar Sounds sessions for Youtube. They got international airplay from Germany and the UK to the United States.
