14 July 2023: Record-breaking British pop singer-songwriter Jess Glynne is back with a soulful, summer banger: ‘What Do You Do?’. Instantly recognisable as one of the UK’s most distinctive and relatable voices in pop; Jess’s latest single hears her question what is ‘enough’ in love and where does one draw the line for self-preservation. Listen BELOW.

Over shadowy house beats, accented by disco strings, Jess offers her confession on the dance floor, singing: “I keep falling in and out of the same mistakes… what do you do when love is not enough? You hold on when you know you should give up”.

Jess said: “’What Do You Do?’ has a whole lot of feelings in it and I’m so excited to share this with you. This type of record is one of my favourites to make. Wearing my heart on my sleeve matched with a beat that makes you want to move. Sometimes we all need to escape our sadness and our thoughts and just be free to dance in the music. Feeling hope through whatever it is you’re going through is a must for me so if this is what you need right now, I hope this does it for you.”

‘What Do You Do?’ is co-written by Jess with Chrome Sparks (Khalid, Major Lazer), Simon Wilcox (Selena Gomez) and co-produced by Stuart Price (Madonna, Dua Lipa).

The song builds from ‘Silly Me’, Jess’s introspective comeback single released in April, which hit the UK Top 20 airplay chart. The soulful track was also reimagined with dance remix by D.O.D. (listen BELOW) and a live acoustic performance (watch BELOW).

The GRAMMY-winning pop sensation also marked her explosive return to the stage at BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend, Capital Summertime Ball, Hits Live and Planet Pride festival in New York.

Following a three-year hiatus; Jess Glynne is back stronger than ever with a brand new chapter of an incredible career with over 4 billion global career streams, 7 UK No.1 singles (the most by any solo British female artist in history), two UK platinum albums, 11 platinum singles and nine BRIT Award nominations.
