Internet sensation Rebecca Black popped in to ‘Good Morning America’ yesterday to perform her controversial song ‘Friday’ acoustically.

The 13-year-old also admitted she gets upset when she reads mean comments online.

"When I first saw all these nasty comments, I did cry,” she said. “I felt like this was my fault and I shouldn't have done this, and this was all because of me."

Meanwhile, Simon Cowell has come out as a fan of the eighth grader.

“I love her [and] the fact she’s gotten so much publicity,” he told ‘People.’ “Anyone who can create this much controversy within a week, I want to meet.”

‘Friday’ has now climbed to No.31 in the iTunes Top 100, sitting two places ahead of Justin Bieber’s ‘Never Say Never.’
