Usher has parted ways with the agent who’s managed his career since he was just a teenager.

The R ‘n’ B star has fired Mark Cheatham of CAA, who represents high-profile clients like Oprah Winfrey and Will Smith, in favour of rivals at William Morris Endeavours just a week after it was reported his girlfriend was interfering with his career.

The ‘O.M.G.’ singer has been dating Grace Miguel (pictured left), a Def Jam record executive, since 2009 and referred to her as his “partner in crime” at the 2010 American Music Awards.
