The Pill to release debut single 'Bale Of Hay' on Tuesday 2nd April

The Pill are set to release their brilliant debut single ‘Bale of Hay’ on Tuesday 2nd April. It’s all razor-sharp wit and frenetic punk-inspired riffs. Super smart and blisteringly joyous it captures The Pill’s unique energy and outlook and acts as the perfect first look from the Isle Of Wight duo.

The Pill talk about the track – “Are you blonde? Then this song is for you. Are you not? You will want to be once this is through. 'Bale of Hay’ is a truthful, noisy checklist about the realities of being blonde. Oh, it's so difficult.”

Core duo Lily and Lottie have been making music together since 2019, and over the past 12 months they’ve been touring with drummer Rufus along for the ride. They’ve been making a name for themselves with their blistering, frenetic hook-laden rock songs and are quickly becoming a must-see live act. With ‘Bale Of Hay’ they release their first single with anticipation building for the unique duo.

Following the single release The Pill will be supporting Big Special in Oxford and Juno in London. Full details below with more dates to come –

• 4th April - Oxford, The Bullingdon, DIY Now & Next w/ Big Special
• 5th April - London Notting Hill Arts Club w/ Juno
