The Immediate Family releases Can’t Stop Progresstoday via Quarto Valley Records. The new EP, produced by The Immediate Family, is the follow-up release to the band’s 2020 U.S. EP debut Slippin’ and Slidin’ that entered The Billboard Blues Chart at #6.

The Immediate Family is Danny Kortchmar, Waddy Wachtel, Russ Kunkel, Leland Sklar and Steve Postell.

Showcasing the band's rock and roll essence, Can't Stop Progress is comprised of five original songs, including the live version of "Machine Gun Kelly," made famous by

Watch the music video for the title track and first single, “Can’t Stop Progress,” which recently premiered via Guitar Player Magazine. The song was co-written by band members Danny Kortchmar and Waddy Wachtel, alongside former Heartbreakers drummer Stan Lynch.

Building upon the success of The Immediate Family’s first U.S. EP Slippin’ and Slidin’, released in fall 2020, the new five-song EP Can’t Stop Progress gives fans a deeper look into their music. Can’t Stop Progress EP is a bridge to the band’s much-anticipated U.S. full-length album to be released in late 2021 on Quarto Valley Records, as well as an upcoming documentary by filmmaker/director Denny Tedesco. Film release date TBD.
