Wendy Stuart will be attending live in person “Road To Freedom,” A Writer’s Benefit for Rainbow Railroad on Thursday, January 12th, 2023 at 1Penn, 1 Pennsylvania Plaza, New York, NY.

Rainbow Railroad is a global not-for-profit organization that helps LGBTQI+ people facing persecution based on their sexual orientation, gender identity and sex characteristics. In a time when there are more displaced people than ever before LBGTQI+ people are uniquely vulnerable due to systemic, state-enabled homophobia and transphobia. These factors either displace them in their own country or prevent them from escaping harm.

Rainbow Railroad – “ We help LGBTQI+ people escape state sponsored violence. In countries around the world, LGBTQI+ people face violence and oppression simply because of who they love or who they are. We help them get to safety.”

Wendy Stuart hosts TriVersity Talk! which is a weekly web series with featured guests discussing their lives, activism and pressing issues in the LGBTQ Community. With TriVersity Talk!, the goal is to laugh and learn.
