New York’s visceral 3-piece busking extraordinaires and YouTube sensations ‘Too Many Zooz’ are set to return to the UK for a string of much anticipated tour dates this May – and tickets are already selling fast!

Too Many Zooz’s berserk self-styled ‘Brass House’ is a Hadron Collision of percussive Jazz, furious wind brass, Afro-Cuban rhythms, Funk and House music structures – backed with sensory overloading live performances from twinkled-toed tenor sax virtuoso Leo P, extra-terrestrial percussionist ‘King of Sludge’ and crackerjack trumpeter Matt Doe.

The guys met by chance; busking at Union Square Subway station in NYC and in no time at all commuter-shot footage of the trio’s underground jamborees were going viral on YouTube. As the views started clocking into the millions it wasn’t long before the neon-clad subway spectacles gained admirers from fellow esteemed musicians, with none other than revered Roots drummer and percussionist Questlove showing early appreciation via twitter.

Queen Bey – yes that one, was hot on the scene and invited the band to her studio where they ended up appearing on two tracks of her Grammy-nominated 'Lemonade' album. Google quickly followed, using the band’s popular track ‘Warriors’ to promote their ‘Pixel 2’ Smartphone in a global TV ad. Leo P single-handedly blew the roof off the Royal Albert Hall with an unforgettable virtuoso performance as part of the BBC Proms series (the comments will tell you everything!) https://youtu.be/BARAHLk-8dk

‘Warriors’ swiftly attracted remixes from the world’s leading producers and last summer KDA’s remix racked up over 100 plays on BBC Radio, with 18 million global streams across all versions of Warriors, selling 80K singles in the UK alone. They even appeared on Good Morning Britain!

With one album (Subway Gawdz, 2016) and two subsequent EPs to their names so far, Too Many Zooz continue to collaborate with major figures in Pop, EDM and Hip Hop with some big announcements on the way. Stay tuned!

Amongst all this, the lads found time to buy themselves some fresh new electronic equipment, giving an instant digi-boost to their already mesmerising live shows! Too Many Zooz are now in constant demand all over the world and are undoubtedly one of the most exciting bands out there. Don’t miss your chance to see them in UK towns and cities near you this May!
