When We're Still is released through Beatnik/French Kiss and comes ahead of the four piece's debut album Feels like Air, which was released in 2018.

The EP features the singles 'Just That Time of the Night', 'All In My Head' and 'She', a selection of tracks that show a remarkable sonic development and usher in a new era for the four piece, taking the driving, anthemic and atmospheric nuances of ISLAND's signature sound to glorious new heights. The release also features new track 'Lyra', which was one of the first tracks the band ever wrote, but also offers an intriguing insight into what's to come from the group in the future.

Speaking about When We're Still, ISLAND said: "For us, ‘When We’re Still’ is a real transition from the album. ‘Feels Like Air’ was written in a really short amount of time, mostly on the road, and it was all about movement and pace. With this EP, we wanted to write songs that, for us, were best enjoyed still. Songs to listen to while just thinking. Also the songwriting spanned a very different period of time, and the EP sandwiches brand new material alongside much older tracks like Lyra, which was the first song we ever wrote as a four."

ISLAND also recently completed a UK and European headline tour, which included a night at Islington Assembly Hall, and a nationwide US and Canada tour as well as storming the iconic SXSW.
