Adele is on track to maintain both her single and album chart number 1 position as the midweek update is revealed. 

She shot to the top of the UK charts on Sunday, February 20 with her live BRITs performance of 'Someone Like You' and sophomore record '21', but despite this rare achievement has managed to match it again as the midweek chart update was announced this afternoon (February 23). 

Glee also made a significant impact on the singles chart as the two tracks Gwyneth Paltrow recorded for the show, namely Cee Lo Green's 'Forget You' and a mash up of Rihanna's 'Umbrella' with classic 'Singing In The Rain', entered at 29 and 24 respectively.
