THE 2010 MTV EMAs PREMIERE ON MTV2 AT 9:00 PM ET/PT SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 7TH
NEW YORK, Nov. 5, 2010 -- MTV announces new presenters and confirms performances by Rihanna at the 2010 MTV EMAs and Thirty Seconds to Mars at a free MTV gig at Puerta de Alcala – both live from Madrid on Sunday 7th November.
Lead singer of The Pretty Reckless and star of TV's 'Gossip Girl' Taylor Momsen will be presenting an award at Caja Magica and attending the show with her band, while British actress Kelly Brook will also make an appearance. UK rap superstar Dizzee Rascal will be presenting an award, as well as making his EMA performance debut alongside Shakira, as they perform Shakira's single 'Loca' together, for the very first time.
Johnny Knoxville will be accompanied by Bam Margera and the rest of the Jackass boys, who will be bringing their own special surprise to the show, while legendary guitarist Slash will be putting the 'rock' in rock & roll as he presents an award as part of MTV EMA 2010 – no doubt adding another dimension to the ceremony.
Hosted by Eva Longoria, the MTV EMA 2010 will broadcast live from Madrid on MTV platforms across the globe from Sunday, November 7th, 2010, 21:00 CET, and will feature performances by Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Kid Rock, Kings of Leon, Linkin Park, B.o.B & Hayley Williams, Plan B, Miley Cyrus, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Bon Jovi, Shakira and Rihanna.
In the U.S., the two-hour show will premiere on MTV2 at 9:00 PM ET/PT Sunday, November 7th, and a one-hour special highlighting the 2010 EMAs performances will air on MTV at 9:00PM ET/PT Friday, November 12th. The 2010 MTV EMAs will also stream live on www.mtvema.com and Facebook from 21:00 CET on Sunday 7 November 2010.
