A Tribe Called Quest's Phife Dawg has died aged 45A Tribe Called Quest's Phife Dawg has passed away at the age of 45, Rolling Stone confirmed. Dawg died yesterday (March 22). An official statement has yet to be issued. A Tribe Called Quest released various hip hop hits such as 1991's 'Can I Kick It?', 'Bonita Applebum and 'I Left My Wallet in El Segundo.' Dawg founded the group with school friends, Q-Tip and Alie Shaheed Muhammed in 1985. The group last performed publicly together on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in November 2015.
