T In The Park Chief Geoff Ellis To Be Presented With Lifetime Achievement Award At UK Festival Awards 2010The UK Festival Awards, in association with Music Week, are proud to announce that DF Concerts CEO and the man behind T In The Park festival, Geoff Ellis, will be honoured with this year's Lifetime Achievement Award. Ellis will be honoured with the award at the annual ceremony which takes place on Thursday, 18th November 2010 at London's indigO2 at The O2. Ellis' presentation will round off an evening of awards celebrating the achievements of the UK's festival industry including 14 publicly-voted award categories including Best Major Festival, Best Toilets and the Headline Performance Award. The creative force behind T in The Park, Connect, King Tut's Wah Wah Hut and The Edge Festival, Geoff Ellis will be the much deserving recipient of this year's Lifetime Achievement Award at the UK Festival Awards 2010. Taking place at indigO2 at The O2 on Thursday 18th November the award, presented in association with Music Week magazine, recognises the hugely successful efforts of a man who has been at the top of the UK's live entertainment industry ladder for many years. Taking charge of Scotland's most popular summer festival as well as promoting the Scottish tour dates of many internationally renowned names, Ellis has the professional responsibility and satisfaction of directing a vibrant music scene.
