Beyoncé wanted for key voice role in Disney’s Lion King remake

Beyoncé is reportedly being sought to play the key voice role in the remake of Disney’s 1994 classic The Lion King movie.

According to Variety, Beyoncé is Walt Disney Director Jon Favreau's "top choice” to act the voice role of Nala the lion, and he is willing to do “whatever it takes” to accommodate the superstar.

The project follows the box-office smash hit, The Jungle Book, which earned $965.8 (£773.899).

The actor Donald Glover has already been cast as Simba in the movie and James Earl Jones will play the voice of Mufasa.

Beyoncé is best known for her acting roles in DreamgirlsThe Pink Panther and Austin Powers In Goldmember. Her last voice role was in the 2013 movie Epic.
