Halsey performs on The Voice finale and 'Hopeless Fountain Kingdom' is certified platinum

Halsey’s 'Hopeless Fountain Kingdom' has been certified platinum by RIAA.

The album is the singer-songwriter's second and was released last year on June 2, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Yesterday (May 23), the singer-songwriter showed her appreciation on Twitter, by writing: "HOPELESS FOUNTAIN KINDGOM IS OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED PLATINUM 🦋THANK YOU ✨💿💘"

RIAA’s platinum certificate is equal to: one album sale, 10 tracks sold from an album or 1,500 on-demand audio and/or video streams from an album. A 2016 revamp of the RIAA's Gold & Platinum Awards Program grew it from a pure album sales certification process to one which now also includes tracks and streams.

'Hopeless Fountain Kingdom' has spawned the hits "Bad at Love" and "Alone" featuring Big Sean and Stefflon Don.

Halsey performed the latter with Big Sean on the NBC finale of The Voice last night (May 23). WATCH BELOW:
