On Thursday 25th October, chart-topping sensation Geri Halliwell will take to the stage along with cast members from the smash-hit musical Singin’ in the Rain, for BBC Children in Need POP Goes the Musical.

Geri says: “I’ve been a big supporter of BBC Children in Need for many years now! It’s always amazing fun to do something different to raise money for children and young people around the UK. This year, I’m itching to make a splash on the Singin’ in the Rain stage!”

BBC Children in Need POP Goes the Musical 2012 is working with the best of West End Theatre and a star-studded line up. This unique charity project is giving renowned celebrities from the music sphere the chance to perform a hit song with a top show on select dates throughout October and November to help raise vital funds for disadvantaged children and young people here in the UK.

The show-stopping celebrities involved in these series of unique curtain calls also include; the handsome Blue boys performing in JERSEY BOYS, as well as soul sensation Macy Gray who will be performing in Thriller Live alongside girl group of the moment, Stooshe.
