Ricky On Guitar EP release 'Chapter 2' 28th September 2015

Ricky Sharma aka Ricky On Guitar is an artist, composer, guitarist and creative powerhouse, who has worked with a legion of artists from both the UK and USA, has had single releases with hit making producers TMS, and Grammy award winning T-Wiz (producer for Chris Brown, Frank Ocean, and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.)

Ricky has performed everywhere from Glastonbury and the Hammersmith Apollo, to the London Olympics in 2012, and shared the stage with the likes of Professor Green, DJ Ironik, The Elements (nominated best band for two consecutive years at Brit Asia Music Awards), and toured extensively worldwide.

November 2014 saw the release of his first single and video collaborative with UK rapper ShaoDow, 'The Rise' from the up coming EP 'Chapter 2', which peaked at No 8 in the iTunes World Music Charts.

His second release from the EP 'Young Girl' featured Urban Music Award winning and MOBO Nominated artist McLean who has had chart success with top ten hits 'My Name', and 'I Got Soul.' The track itself reached No 16 in the iTunes Charts.

The official release of 'Chapter 2' will be on the 28th September 2015, and showcases the fusion of Ricky's trademark guitar playing through different styles of Hiphop, Pop, and Classical guitar playing. Nothing is what it seems though and Ricky certainly doesn't like to 'do what it says on the tin!' Not only featuring the above, but the collection also includes his own interpretation of Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be', which has also been approved with a big thumbs up by the band, and their writers /publishers from EMI, Universal, and Sony.

Following on from his collaborations as described above, Ricky is currently working on McLean's new offering, and ShaoDow's third studio album 'シャウ道。- The Way of Shao.’
