Sultry, post-grungy alt-rock that stokes a similar fire as Soundgarden while paying odes to the icons of glam and classic rock, Vince Spano’s latest single, RELAPSE, taken from his forthcoming EP, is a serpentine earworm unafraid to bite and inject its infectious energy.

Before the release, the Austin, Texas prodigal son amassed a strong hometown audience, complete with a collection of devout fans keen to devour his sonic vision of the past and the present of rock combined.

Vince Spano was seemingly born with a desire to make music and entertain. A Guns N’ Roses CD gifted by his father at age five planted the seed, and picking up the guitar in high school saw his artistic journey begin.

Starting by writing songs and playing small gigs in his hometown, it wasn’t long before Spano had greater ambitions for his sound. After finishing high school, he got an RV and ventured wherever the music guided him.

Currently, he is based in Austin, TX, turning his rock revivalist dream into a reality. During the 2020 lockdown, he recorded a series of acoustic demos to form his debut EP, Letters from The Space Man.

His latest single, Relapse, was released on July 22nd; it is the first song from his upcoming EP, The Prescribed Project.
