The London-hailing definitive queen of Afro-Fusion, Princess Wonda, has unveiled yet another sonic soul revival with her latest single, My Body, which exhibits the borderless relatability of Afro-Fusion while speaking to her audience with a message of self-love.

Princess Wonda came through with a harmoniously harmonic vocal delivery that reaches the pinnacle of sensual confidence as the afro beats bring the colour and flavour that international audiences have been keen to witness and savour.

My Body was recorded at Pirate Studio in London, produced by Nigeria’s Mr Marz, and mixed and mastered by the afrobeat luminary Xtraordinaire before it hit the airwaves on April 21.

Princess Wonda said:

“All our bodies change as we age; whether we look better or worse in our minds, it is something everyone experiences. As an artist, I have faced scrutiny from the public, and I’ve been subjected to their view on how I should present myself. I know image is a big part of showbiz, and I always want to feel like the best version of myself.

This song is an extension of that and something for everyone to enjoy; it is a love song for my fans, who I want to love living in the body they have. Confidence is something you learn; I wanted my song to be a lesson.”

Amelia Vandergast, the Executive Editor at A&R Factory said:

“One of the hardest relationships women can form is with the skin they’re in; Princess Wonda is the ultimate aural relationship coach in My Body by radiating the confidence that every woman should want to exude. Exotic yet wholesome in equal measure, My Body spills sun-drenched good vibes by the smorgasbord.”
