Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and BMG recording artist Ledisi has released the first single, ‘Anything For You’, from her forthcoming album Wild Card, set to be released this August via Listen Back/BMG. ‘Anything For You’ marks the first new musical release from Ledisi since 2017.

While the world tries to deal with the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the countless sacrifices that workers are making to help combat the crisis all around the globe, the lyrics will resonate for everyone in a profound way. When she wrote the song she tapped into strong emotions she was feeling about how powerful love is and how she would do anything to protect the people that she loves. When her friend’s father passed away he told his family that he hoped that he did everything he could for his family, inspiring her to embrace the need to express love.
