BMG recording artists and legendary Spanish band Mecano are set to reissue their iconic six studio albums released between 1982 and 1991, via BMG.

Comprised of Ana Torroja, and brothers Nacho and José María Cano, Mecano formed in 1981.

Beginning as a Synthpop band, with influences including New Wave and Spandau Ballet, the group have sold over 30 million records to date and have racked up more than 100 million streams across the globe.

Since 1981 when their first singles were released, Mecano has maintained an unshakable force in Spanish-language pop music, with some of their biggest Number One singles including ‘Me cuesta tanto olvidarte’, ‘La fuerza del destino’, ‘Hijo de la luna’, ‘Cruz de navajas’.

Despite the departure of its three members, Mecano has never truly left the public consciousness. Their music has remained ahead of its time and continues to resonate with audiences, long after the band's abrupt hiatus in 1992. Mecano would reform for a brief comeback in 1998.

Mecano (1981), ¿Dónde está el país de las hadas? (1983), Ya Viene el Sol (1984), Entre el cielo y el suelo (1986), Descanso dominical (1988) and Aidalai (1991), are now available for preorder, and will hit the shelves November 10.
