Britney Spears unveils new track and says new album will be out before end of year

Pop superstar Britney Spears has finally unveiled her new song that will feature on the soundtrack for the upcoming 'Smurfs' movie sequel.

'Ooh La La' received its first play on Ryan Seacrest's radio show recently and she also opened up about the progress she has been making on her new album:

"It's definitely at the beginning stage right now. I want to make it a little different from anything I've ever done. I think William Orbit is coming into town for me to work with next week. I've never worked with him before so I'm so excited."

She also revealed that hitmaker Will.i.Am has brought a different vibe to the record and added that she has incorporated a lot of guitar parts: "Will has some really interesting tracks. There's a lot of guitar. I think people will be surprised."

When asked about a potential release date, Spears confessed: "By the end of the year, yeah."

Meanwhile, Spears took to her official Twitter page earlier today (June 17) and told her fans that the new song was written for her sons and she's excited that it has finally been revealed: "For my two precious boys & the adorable #Smurfs... hope y'all love it as much as they do :)"
