Cheryl Cole has commented on her recent reunion with Girls Aloud bandmate Nadine Coyle, calling it "really nice".

Cole and Coyle were seen out together on Saturday night (June 9) in London after the former performed at Capital FM's Summertime Ball event at Wembley Stadium.

Speaking to Capital FM, Cole expressed her joy at going out for a few drinks with Coyle, who relocated to America after Girls Aloud took a break. She said:

"It's really nice. She's been here for a couple of weeks now, because she's always in LA so we never get the chance to go out and have a drink."

Cole added that their night went on for so long that they came home to the sound of birds tweeting. She added:

"All I know was the birds were tweeting. When I got home the birds were tweeting."
