Cheryl Cole has lavished praise upon Great Britain's Olympic diver Tom Daley.

18-year-old Daley has captured hearts and minds across the world with his presence at this summer's Olympic Games.

It seems he has had an effect on 'Call My Name' star Cole too, with the singer taking to Twitter to call him "amazing" and ask him for lessons. She said:

"I think you are amazing! Will you teach me how to swan dive?"

Daley replied: "@cherylcole Of course!!! But first you need to follow me ;)"

Cole then indeed followed Daley, with the pop world waiting with rapt anticipation to see Cheryl Cole's diving lessons.
