Audrie Powell's birth to a nomadic mother who was 17 years old was unexpected. Nevertheless, her mother continued to travel, and as a result, the songstress grew up near the ocean in Hawaii and the Bahamas. Her mother sang to her so frequently that she picked up humming and singing before she could even speak.

When Audrie Powell moved to the West Coast City of Portland at the age of six, she began writing music. Then, in middle school, she auditioned and became a finalist in Portland Teen Idol. By the age of 18, after graduating from high school, she set out to travel the world by herself. She gained a lot of life experience before moving to Los Angeles to make her musical dreams come true. Originally focusing on R&B music to inspire her flows, she now is gravitating towards the country music scene.

At a crossroads, she felt discouraged from creating R&B music as it was leading her in the direction of creating auto-tune tracks similar to Doja Cat. Although this sound was fun, Audrie Powell wants to share her real and natural voice. She grew up singing Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and Miley Cyrus songs; and with this revelation, she has begun creating country music. “It felt like I was singing from my heart and not for what’s trendy but what feels right,” she comments.

Audrie Powell's musical spark returned, influencing her to gravitate towards country music, leading to a rediscovery of her admiration for creating music that is passionate to her artistry. She released her first country offering of ‘Levi Jeans’ on August 21, 2023.
