The Naked and Famous (TNAF) have added a second Shepherd's Bush Empire date to their upcoming UK tour. The New Zealand five piece will now play the London venue on December 1st and 2nd in support of their new album 'In Rolling Waves', due September 16th. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Tuesday, September 3rd via: http://www.gigsandtours.com Last week the band revealed new album track, 'A Stillness' via Wonderland magazine: http://www.wonderlandmagazine.com/2013/08/premiere-track-the-naked-and-famous-a-stillness Described by the NME as "Epic, wide-eyed and unashamedly massive" the album’s lead single 'Hearts Like Ours' has over 400K listens on Soundcloud and more than 500,000 views on Youtube. Produced by singer Thom Powers and keyboardist Aaron Short, new album 'In Rolling Waves' is the band’s follow-up to their award-winning, internationally-acclaimed debut album 'Passive Me, Aggressive You'. Written at their home in Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles, 'In Rolling Waves' also credits Justin Meldal-Johnsen (M83, Beck and NIN) with co-production and was mixed by Alan Moulder at his Assault and Battery Studio in London. The tour will kick off on November 21st at the Manchester Ritz before taking in Birmingham’s HMV Institute, Norwich’s UEA, Dublin’s Olympia, Belfast’s Limelight, Glasgow’s ABC, Bristol’s O2 Academy, Oxford’s O2 Academy and finally two big nights at Shepherd's Bush Empire on December 1st and 2nd.
