Lift The Curse is an American hard rock/metal duo hailing from Texas. The band is the culmination of an eight year collaboration between two best friends, Ryan Hegefeld and Jon Yadon Jr. Songwriting is at the forefront of Jon and Ryan’s musical philosophy and the pair have found a conducive balance in co-writing their songs. Typically, Ryan performs vocals, guitar, and drums while Jon supplies guitar, bass and background vocals. Blending elements of alt-rock choruses, head banging riffs, ripping solos, melodic harmonies, and a library of visually captivating music videos, Lift The Curse has been on a music spreading mission since April 2022. The next eagerly anticipated offering from Lift The Curse is the scintillating track "Kingsbury". The song's journey began with the acoustic version featured on their recent album, "Suffer And Survive", released on June 30th. The band had a strategic plan to craft a full electric version of this standout track, and they've delivered with precision and passion.

Talking about the track, Ryan explains: "The meaning behind the song is about the place where I grew up. A ranch in Texas that has my whole heart forever. I luckily called it home for a long time. I wrote hundreds of songs there, grew up deer hunting, made amazing memories with friends and family. Ultimately it’s my idea of heaven. My place."
